Aurora Aksnes is born June 15, 1996 in Stavanger Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and sometimes stylized with uppercase letters as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015 and was praised by journalists as well as media. The artist has already recorded two highly-regarded covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis as a Christmas commercial from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry's endorsement for her hit song Runaway in a blog entry brought the singer additional acknowledgement. Honor her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding the piano in her attic, and being captivated by the sounds that it made.
